Nicole Foster
Meet Nicole, the co-founder of Prepared Pregnancy South Bay. Nicole supports women as they navigate their way through preconception, pregnancy, birth and motherhood with warmth, wisdom and practical guidance.
With a foundation in athletics, functional movement, and coaching her work weaves strength, mindset, and intentional care into every space she leads. What began in athletics and personal development evolved into something deeper through her own initiation into motherhood.
As a mother of two young boys, Nicole understands firsthand that motherhood is not just a role, it is a transformation and a direct portal to our evolution.
She is a BIRTHFIT Leader and Coach, specializing in prenatal and postpartum functional movement and a Prenatal/Postpartum Yoga Teacher. Her approach blends evidence-based education with embodied wisdom, guiding women to feel strong in their bodies, steady in their nervous systems, and deeply connected to their intuition.
Nicole is also the co-founder of Gather The Mother (@gatherthemother), a movement to bring heart-centered women and mothers back into the ritual of gathering. Here she collaborates with other magical facilitators and curates conscious gatherings, seasonal circles, Mother’s Blessings, and retreats that bring ritual, depth, and meaning back into motherhood.
She is known as a beacon for connection within the South Bay community, holding spaces that are real, grounded, fun and transformative.
Her guidance is rooted in consciousness, sovereignty, love, and trust. She believes wholeheartedly that when a mother thrives - physically, emotionally, and spiritually - her children, her family, and her community thrive alongside her and when the Mother is cared for everyone benefits.
Nicole is here to support women in reclaiming their innate wisdom, honoring their bodies, and stepping into motherhood with strength, intention, freedom.

Courtney Satow
Meet Courtney. Courtney is the co-founder of Prepared Pregnancy South Bay and owner of Courtney Nicole Birth Services (@courtneynicolesatow). She is a birth doula, childbirth educator, yoga teacher specializing in pre/postnatal, and most recently keepsake jewelry artist specializing in preserving breastmilk.
A former collegiate soccer player, Courtney knew she wanted to have a career in the health and wellness field. She graduated college with a BS degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in wellness and went straight into continuing her education at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2009. After working in corporate wellness and offering her services as a health and nutrition coach at different clinics, she started her own business. Along with seeing her own clients, Courtney worked as a wellness consultant at Terranea Resort and the Blue Zones Project Redondo Beach. In 2014 she became a registered yoga teacher wanting to bring movement and a spiritual aspect into her practice. She then teamed up with an esthetician and massage therapist to open a studio, Bliss, offering a variety of well-being services. After teaching for a few years, Courtney decided to take a 100 hour pre/postnatal yoga teacher training with a desire to continue her education, specifically in women’s health. She loved learning about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It was all so fascinating and was presented in a way that she hadn’t experienced before. She dove in head first and enrolled in a Birth Doula training the next month. Courtney took client after client, wanting to gain as much experience as possible and truly felt like she found her calling. Her past education and training was wholly related. This, combined with her supportive nature, is why Courtney feels she brings something extra to the table as a doula and educator. In 2018 Courtney welcomed her first baby, a little girl named Sawyer. She closed her studio and dedicated her time being a mom and building up her business as a doula. In 2021 she welcomed her son, Banks, and launched the Prepared Pregnancy Series while pregnant with him. In the midst of all this, Courtney has also taken trainings with BIRTHFIT, Spinning Babies, and Body Ready Method. Courtney has recently found a new passion with “Forever Loved Keepsakes.” Longing for something that stimulated her creative and artistic side, she began using preserved breastmilk in jewelry for friends and clients and eventually grew into a new side business.
